Night Kitchen Interactive Summer 2008 Internship Opportunities
Night Kitchen Interactive seeks 2 interns for the summer. We are looking for bright, creative designers and developers trained in Web and Multimedia production. The candidate should be responsible, hard working and exhibit strong communication skills.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Graphic Designer: Support the Creative Director and the design team in designing Web and Multimedia interfaces, graphics and content elements. Requires fluency in Photoshop and Illustrator. Knowledge of Flash, Powerpoint and 3D preferred.
Interactive Designer: Support the Information Design and Development team in designing information architecture and functionality for Web and Multimedia applications. Requires fluency in html, ActionScript and Flash. Knowledge of JavaScript and Powerpoint preferred.
TIMEFRAME
12 weeks of Full Time Work. Beginning of June, 2008 – End of August 2008.
STIPEND
$10 per hour.
TEAM
The interns will learn how to function as key members of a professional multimedia design team. They will learn how to produce a multimedia project from creative conception through to design and implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary tasks will involve design and development of Web and multimedia projects including: interface design, graphic design, graphics production and processing, animation, actionScripting, html and javaScripting, quality assurance testing and documentation development. The interns will also be expected to do a range of administrative tasks, including: archiving, mailings, data and word processing.
