D-Revolution is coming!
This past weekend I rubbed elbows with some of the most knowledgeable and experienced Adobe Director Developers around. Never before have I had such fun discussing and brain storming all things Director!
Starting at 9:00 am in the morning while eating breakfast, Ending late night, way after dinner (past 12:00 midnight) we talked all about Adobe Director. Why it was created, where it is now, and where it is going in the future. Without breaking my NDA (None Disclosure Agreement), I can safely say that all of you digital-media developers that thought that Director was dead, or on it’s way out…. You are oh so WRONG! Get ready ladies and gentleman, the next step in the digital-media development evolution is about to begin!
It’s official, I’m heading to Puerto Rico this weekend to geek out on Director 11.
Digital Media Instructor Jervis Thompson will be attending Adobe’s first “Director & Shockwave Education Assembly” in Puerto Rico Nov 21 – Nov 23 2008. The event is by invitation only. Adobe invited a select group of potential attendees to compete for seats at the Adobe sponsored event. To win a seat candidates had to prepare a single Director tutorial for Adobe® review. Jervis’s Director tutorial was selected to be showcased and Jervis will debut his tutorial at the Puerto Rico Education Assembly. Following the event, the tutorial will be made publicly available on the Adobe® Director Developer Center web site.
